It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Caldas de Reis is a regular stop-over on the Camino Portuguese. The main square with palm trees is lovely. There are cafes and you can sit there have coffee and enjoy, I only made a one night stop so can't really say much more.

We only stayed in Caldas de Reis as we were walking the Camino Portugese. We saw lots of things that'd been nice to further explore if we'd had a couple of days there....river, historic buildings etc.

The place is just marvellous! An old beautiful renovated house with all the necessary things in it. The treasure of this albergue is the owners which are wonderful people! They work not for the money, but for the people; I have recieved so much positive emotions from Jolie and her family :)) Thank you!!!<3 P.S. they give the most incredible stamp ever! It is in fact a hotel, partialy reconstructed to an albergue. It is great for recovery, clean private bathroom with bath tube and even with a bidet. Great beds, nice linen. Restaurant downstairs had a good value for money pilgrim's menu. Not „camino spirit“ kind of albergue, but it feels so good to have a little bit of comfort on the pilgrimage.

The property facilities were incredible -- after a long day it was incredible being able rest and recover in the pool. The bed was comfortable, shower had great water pressure and staff was friendly too. Location is very close to town center, only a short walk to stores and restaurants. My favorite stay in Spain

Unless peregrinos are staying in an albergue, they will find this place to be one of the best bargains in Caldas de Reis. It is a comfortable, roomy, nicely furnished apartment in a really good location, right on the Camino.

It is a hotel converted into an alberge so you have max four people per room with your own bathroom and shower. I have done nine Caminos. This is the best Albergue I have been in. And they have a Cafeteria restaurante.
